GRADE

The raw silk is divided into 11 grades: 6A, 5A, 4A, 3A, 2A, A, B, C, D, E, F. In reference to The GB/T Standards silk is classified according to the results of the test categories such as cleanness, neatness, tenacity, defect and more. In brief, 6A grade mulberry silk is the finest quality silk in the market. And... it's exactly what we offer!

MOMME COUNT
​
The momme count shows the density. It is determined by taking a 100 feet by 45 inches piece of silk fabric and weighing it. For example, if the weight is 14 pounds, then the silk is 14 momme.
We would love you to know that our silk is at least 22 momme. It means that it's more "fleshy", less prone to wrinkle, more durable.

GOOD TO KNOW.
Biodegradable. Silk is a natural protein fiber that takes 1-4 years to fully decompose. For comparison, polyester takes up to 200 years.
Silk quality is graded. We are so happy that our customers enjoy GRADE 6A, which is the finest quality available in the marketplace.
According to the legend, silk was invented accidentally by a woman named Leizu, around the year 2696 BC in China.
